Andrea Pirlo to become Sampdoria's new coach

Italian coach Andrea Pirlo will sign a contract with Sampdoria in the near future, according to football insider Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the source, the process of signing the contract is underway. The agreement will be for two years with an option to extend for another one. Earlier, Pirlo had three meetings with Sampdoria's management, the last of which took place on 26 June.
