The 2034 World Cup may be held in Central Asia

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are preparing a joint bid to host the 2034 World Cup, Championat.asia reports.

This was announced at the summit of officials of football associations of Turkic-speaking countries of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan, the head of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Adilet Barmenkulov.

It is reported that the summit was attended by the first vice-president of the Football Association of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov.
