On Sunday, 22 October, in the match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24 Dynamo Kyiv lost to Dnipro-1 with the score 0:1. - Why do Shakhtar and even Polesie strengthen legionnaires, while at Dynamo foreigners, according to you, are afraid to go. Is it somehow connected with this club?
- I do not make decisions on transfers, I coach players.
Some clubs may buy new players, quality legionnaires, but we really have not signed anyone and that's why we play with the players we have at our disposal now.
As for the match itself, it is hard to start the game with mistakes. Dnipro-1 has a good team with a well-coordinated game both in defence and in attack, which was well prepared for the match against us. And we started the game with two mistakes. But we dominated, attacked, created chances. Unfortunately, our players today were not angry enough to effectively face this opponent.

- The problem is that we lost 11 main players, who were the leaders of our team and played a key role. Now we have 5-6 young players without experience, they need to learn.
The problem is in me: I could not build a team in such a short period of time, which could resist our opponents in the Ukrainian championship. In addition, luck has turned away from us. We lost Shaparenko for a long time, and then Yarmolenko. Popov has only recently recovered. Finally, today Karavaev was serving a suspension.
Our players today did not show the level that we want to see from them. We are creating a new team, but the main thing is that today too many mistakes were made. However, I do not absolve myself of responsibility.
In the situation with the missed goal Sirota, Vivcharenko and Buschan did not understand each other. But conceding is not such a big problem. The problem is that we could not score.
- Why did your team had so few shots on goal? Is it the merit of the opposing team?
- I agree with you. Brazhko very rarely returned to the defence, he was always 20-25 metres further than he had to be. Today he returned to the defence only once. The rest of the time he was far away from our penalty area, made mistakes under pressure, creating opportunities for the opponent.
Today all our players did not have the necessary level of concentration and concentration. Yes, we constantly played under pressure, but the main problem was a lot of technical errors. That's why we lost. We have good ball control, good passing, but it's not enough: we need to finish attacks.

- Kyiv Dynamo is not a foreign team to me and, I admit, I always wanted to win it. So, in a sense, I had double motivation today.
I don`t want to say that in the second half we played to keep the score, but we played to keep it. If we won, then we did everything right.
- Do you have any comments to the defensive line of Dnipro-1?
- What remarks? We played for the fourth match in a row on zero. What remarks?! God willing, it should continue like this. We won, and I want to thank the guys for the game.
