Dynamo Kyiv is continuing its preparations for the second part of the season at the training camp in Turkey. On the third day of the training camp, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team had to take part in a multi-stage fitness test, commonly known among footballers as a yo-yo test or beep test.
This test involves running between two markers located 20 metres apart. The player has to run from mark to mark according to the sound signals, hence one of the names - beep test, with the time between signals decreasing with each level.
This test provides an insight into the functional state of athletes, in particular aerobic endurance. Most footballers are not too fond of it because they have to push themselves to the limit during the test.
This time, Vladyslav Dubinchak was the longest runner on the course, finishing his race to the applause of his teammates and collapsing on the green lawn after the timer stopped.
After such a strenuous workout, the coaching staff gave the players a little rest and played with the ball in an exercise that footballers love - tennisball. Here, the players' technical skills came to the fore.
The morning session ended with the players' positional formations during the development and completion of attacks.
Unlike the morning session, the evening training was full of game exercises. The Dynamo players practised passing, ball retention and pressing, and worked separately on offensive and defensive actions. And at the end of the third training day, divided into two teams, they played almost the whole field.
