"Como" after 21 years returned to Serie A

The teams that finished 3rd to 8th will play in a play-off for promotion to Serie A: Venice, Cremonese, Catanzaro, Palermo, Sampdoria and Brescia. The first two teams will start the play-offs from the semi-finals, the others from the quarter-finals.

Ascoli, Feralpisalo and Lecco have been relegated to Serie C. "Ternana and Bari will play transitional matches with Serie C clubs.
