The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has not approached Shakhtar winger Pedrino with a proposal to become a naturalized player of the Ukrainian national team, as previously reported by Trivela.
PedrinoIn response to a request from Tribuna.com, the UAF denied this information from a Brazilian source.
It was reported that the 26-year-old player's entourage is carefully evaluating the UAF's proposal, as they understand that it is difficult to get a call-up to the Brazilian national team. At one time, Pedrino played 14 matches for the Brazilian U-23 national team and scored 3 goals.
For the last 2 seasons, the midfielder has played on loan for Athletic Mineiro. In February this year, Shakhtar extended his contract, and the player returned to the Donetsk club during the summer training camp.
