Former England and Manchester United defender Phil Jones has announced his retirement from football at the age of 32.
"My career ended earlier than I would have liked. But the glass is half full. I have received my UEFA coaching license and I want to try my hand at coaching. I am determined to achieve this," the BBC quoted Jones as saying.
The 32-year-old hasn't played since leaving Manchester United at the end of the 2022/23 season, and his last appearance was 12 months ago against Brentford.
Jones, who joined Manchester United from Blackburn in 2011, has been plagued by injury problems for most of his career.
