Former Everton coach Frank Lampard has officially become the coach of Coventry, reports the press service of the Championship club.

Coventry is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Lampard as the new head coach of the club. The 46-year-old specialist has signed a contract for two and a half years and will lead the team onto the field for the first time this Saturday in a match against Cardiff City at the Coventry Building Arena. Frank will be supported by two new coaches, Joe Edwards and Chris Jones, with whom he has worked a lot in the past,” the club's statement says.
