The debts of Poltava’s Vorskla for salaries to footballers, coaches, and club personnel amount to 4-5 months. Additionally, the club also owes to organizations responsible for conducting competitions.
Several players who do not believe they will get their earned money back have already sought assistance from the All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers, among them Ilya Krupskiy and Alexander Sklyar. The preparation of materials for consideration by the Disputes Resolution Chamber of UAF is already at the final stage. It is not ruled out that there are Vorskla players who have directly addressed their issues to UAF.
A transfer ban (the third one already) has been imposed on Vorskla for failing to fulfill contract terms, and the Poltava team is not allowed to register new players. Almost all the previous squad have already left the team.
For this reason, the new head coach of Vorskla, Zhelko Lyubenovich, faced with financial problems, decided to urgently terminate cooperation with the Poltava club.
