A 23-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by former Barcelona defender Dani Alves is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, Mundo Deportivo reports.
According to the source, the Spanish prosecutor's report on Dani Alves' case contains new details concerning the footballer's victim. The girl admitted that since the notorious day, she has been receiving psychological help on a regular basis.
"She suffers from high-intensity post-traumatic stress disorder with functional consequences and deterioration in several areas of functioning," the report says.
In addition, the girl's lawyer said that she was not yet able to return to work: "The symptoms are no longer the same as those of a woman who has been sexually assaulted, but the media pressure has added to the traumatic symptoms."
