Atletico Madrid has expressed interest in Antwerp's central midfielder Arthur Vermeer, Relevo reports.

Despite his fairly young age, Vermeeren is a core member of Antwerp. He has played 66 games, scored three goals and made eight assists for his hometown club. In addition, he has already played two matches for the Belgian national team.
