Veres president Ivan Nadein said he did not support the idea of banning third-party incentives for clubs.
"Incentives are, in fact, the same solidarity, only for a specific result. As a club president, I encourage my players to win. Will the UAF forbid me to encourage my players? This is an absurd decision. Our sponsors encourage our own teams to take high places, the sponsorship agreement depends on it. This is also stimulation. Our fans incentivise our players when they come to the stadium and pay money to the ticket office.
Stimulation is needed in any business process. There is an employee who does his job and receives an incentive for improved performance. If it is an incentive from a third party, then please. This is solidarity. I think there is nothing wrong with that. What's the problem here? It's not an incentive to play, but rather to improve the quality and emotional charge of the players. If some clubs are amongst themselves, I don't see any catastrophe in this. If it's banned, it's wrong," Nadein said on the Ukraine Today YouTube channel.
