Eduardo Ignatov, the son of Ukrainian immigrants, has signed a contract with the Italian club Cittadella, which plays in Serie B.

Ignatov, 17, is a product of Padova, a club currently in Serie C. Eduardo is a versatile player who can play both as a central midfielder and a winger.

By the way, last season Padova failed to get promoted to Serie B, while Cittadella finished 14th in the second strongest division in Italy.

Ignatov's parents are Ukrainians from Lviv region who emigrated to Italy in 1999. They went for a year or two, but have been living in the Apennines for over 20 years.
