The Pitmen received the Kyivans at the base of the Lviv Rukh in Vinniki. A week ago, the Kyivans were defeated here, in Vinniki, by Rukh with a score of 2:3, after which the Lviv side broke away from Dynamo and Shakhtar by 3 points, while the Orange-and-Blacks had one less game played.
Compared to the game against Rukh, Igor Kostyuk made three substitutions in the starting lineup of his team. Instead of Ivan Kotyukha, Artem Slesar and Dmitry Kremchanin, Andrey Matkevich, Roman Salenko and Samba Diallo came from the start.
It was Diallo's active actions that contributed to a quick goal against Shakhtar - in the tenth minute he was stopped illegally in the penalty area of the Donetsk team, and the referee awarded a penalty. The 11-meter shot was clearly played by Anton Tsarenko, spreading the goalkeeper and the ball in different corners.
Having taken the lead, the Dynamo team did not think to stop, actively pressing the opponent even in the wrong half of the field. In the first half, the Kievans did not allow the opponent to create a single scoring chance at their goal.
At the same time, the "white-blue" at the end of the half could score for the second time. After several corners in a row from the right flank, Matkevich found Anton Bol in the center of the penalty area with a canopy, after a header, the ball was taken by the post.
And just before the break, after contact with an opponent, Tsarenko ended up on the lawn in Shakhtar's penalty area, but the referee "awarded" Anton with a yellow card for simulation. At the beginning of the second half, Andriy Buleza received a similar punishment for diving into the Kiev penalty area.
The wards of Igor Kostyuk controlled the course of the meeting, and in the 66th minute they scored the second goal. After a cross from Matkevich from a corner from the right flank, Nazar Balaba overtook his opponent in Shakhtar's penalty area and headed the ball into the top corner of the goal with a header - 0:2!
A few minutes later, Shakhtar forward Vladislav Pogorely, the top scorer of the championship, had a chance to excel in the same way. True, he closed the cross with his head not from a corner, but from a penalty from the right flank and missed from a very advantageous position.
In general, after the second goal, the game opened up, both teams began to create dangerous chances in turn. Dynamo could bring the score to a devastating one in the 80th minute, when Oleksandr Yatsyk, having started the attack himself, shot Shakhtar's goal from close range after a cross from the right flank. The Pitmen's goal was saved by Denis Tvardovsky.
Active "swings" on the opposite courses continued until the last minutes of the meeting, but the score did not change anymore. Dynamo U-19 defeats a direct competitor in the championship race, inflicting their first defeat of the season.
