Journalist Dmytro Vienkov reported on his Telegram channel that Metalist is already preparing to appoint a new coach for the first league.

"Metalist's management has already started planning the squad for the next season to play in the first league. They will rely on players from the U-19, as well as players who agree to join the team in the summer.
Moreover, the club is already looking for a new head coach. We are considering the candidacy of former Metalist midfielder Oleg Krasnopyorov, who is currently the head of FSC Mariupol," Vienkov wrote.
