Polissia midfielder Oleksandr Nazarenko joined the team on the pitch for the first time since his injury, the Zhytomyr press service reports.
- "First of all, I am very happy to be back on the football field, to go out and run a little bit, because for more than a month I have been working in the gym, in the pool, undergoing rehabilitation and procedures. And now it's finally the first day when I can go out and run a little bit and feel the pitch, feel the field. I have been recovering under the supervision of our doctors, we have all the necessary conditions for recovery here at the training centre, I have been working out in the gym, doing special procedures.
I don't want to predict anything now, because I don't know how my leg will behave. But I really want to return to the football field as soon as possible and help the team. I hope it will be soon. During my time away from the football field, I honestly understand our fans, how much they care about the team. I used to go to all the home games very, very nervous. I'll say this: I really don't want to sit up there in the stands, but I want to be on the pitch. Nerve cells are not made of iron," said Oleksandr.
