Besiktas Istanbul'sattempt to get ex-Dynamo Kiev coach Mircea Lucescu as the team's head coach has failed.

According to the Turkish media, the Black Eagles, immediately after the recent dismissal of their previous manager Riza Calymbay, the first thing they did was to contact Lucescu, but he refused.
