Dynamo defender Maksym Dyachuk spoke about the start of preparations for the second part of the season.
- Maxim, tell us how you spent your holiday?
- First, I went home and then returned to Kyiv, where I spent all my time preparing for the upcoming team training camp.
- What is the most vivid football memory from 2023?
- Probably when we beat Aris. It was a tense encounter, and after we won the penalty shootout, emotions ran high. It was very memorable.
- The first training camp under Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's leadership is ahead. Do you expect it to be different from the training sessions you had under Mircea Lucescu?
- I think there will be differences. Moreover, we have added a coach who will work with the defenders.
- Who are we talking about?
- This is Fedorov, with whom I have also worked in the U-19 team. He helps me a lot, but I won't go into details (smiles).
- Does the information that Dynamo is actively looking for a centre-back affect you?
- I concentrate on my game, analyse my mistakes to avoid them in the future. There is no pressure, it's competition, it's football.
- What can you say about the upcoming opponents at the training camp?
- We haven't studied anyone in particular, this is a training camp where we will, so to speak, gain momentum. I think we will have good sparring matches.
