Xavi to meet with Barcelona players to explain his decision to leave the club

Barcelona head coach Javi Hernandez, who announced his departure from the club at the end of the season yesterday, will meet with the players next week to explain his decision, Mundo Deportivo reports.

According to a source, the 44-year-old met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta to discuss his departure from the club. Xavi is currently planning to meet with the players to explain his decision. Interestingly, most of Barcelona's players found out about Xavi's decision on their way home after the match against Villarreal.

After 22 rounds, Barcelona is in third place with 44 points.
