Of course, there are certain leaders, including clubs, who for some reason think that it will be better for them, they will play in the Asian Champions League, the national team will participate in the World Cup selection. None of this is guaranteed yet.
Nor is it guaranteed that we will be accepted to Asia. There are 47 associations, we must get at least 24 votes. Given the negative trends that exist throughout the world, including in Asia, Australia, Japan, South Korea or Malaysia will never vote for us. This is a real risk. Before making a decision, we need to agree with the Asians whether they will accept us.
Even if we move there, no one guarantees that the national team will participate in the World Cup qualification. Many people forget that FIFA sanctions have been imposed on us, they apply to all continental confederations - to Europe, Asia, South America. It may happen that we will move, and the national team will not play the qualifying matches.
We are talking about the transition of the entire system of Russian football to Asia - this is not only the main team and 5-6 clubs participating in international tournaments. We will just die there, ”Match TV quoted Koloskov as saying.
