Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Jermain Lens recalled in an interview with
Sport Arena TV the ambiguous times he spent in Ukraine.
- "I played for Dynamo for two years. We became champions, won the cup, the Super Cup. It was a good period, I remember good events. When I came here, everything was good. In general, it was a cool time, and I enjoyed it. But six months later, the whole situation with Crimea started, then Donbass, and everything became completely different. We had to play 70% of our matches at home, we didn't go to the east of Ukraine. It calmed us down as players and we felt safe," said the Dutchman, in particular.
