Northern Macedonia head coach Blagoja Milevski commented on his side's dramatic 0-7 defeat to England in yesterday's Euro 2024 qualifying match.
Blagoja Milevski"We had our tactical ideas before the game and we implemented them until the first goal. But as soon as we conceded, everything went wrong and after that the quality of the opponent became obvious. We must congratulate the England team, our opponent was too strong.
After the emotion and exhaustion we experienced in the match against Ukraine, it was obvious that it affected the players, but we had to be prepared to go two levels higher to compete with a team like England," UEFA quoted Milevski as saying.
