News from the camp of Ukraine's rival in the Euro 2024 qualifying group. The Belgian national team yesterday held the first training session in preparation for the European Championship.
This session was attended by 24 players out of 25 of those who are included in the application of the Belgian team for Euro-2024 (striker Charles De Ketelare from Atalanta is still in the location of his club, which only today will have the final match of the season).
Three Belgian national team players - defenders Arthur Theate and Jan Vertonghen, as well as midfielder Juri Thielemans - are not training in the general group yet. All of them continue to recover from injuries and are now working on an individual programme.
We would like to add that in preparation for Euro 2024, the Belgian national team will play two friendly matches - against Montenegro (5 June) and Luxembourg (8 June).
