Head coach of Karpaty Vladyslav Lupashko told us about his family.
Vladislav Lupashko"Once my parents came to a game at Ingulets. My dad is from the south of Ukraine, from a family that is engaged in winemaking. He continues this tradition and makes quality wine himself, chacha from grapes. I gave him a barrel with his initials on it.
And so my dad, mom, and wife came to the match, took the chacha with them to the game, and agreed that they would drink it after every Ingulets goal. It was the 30th minute of the match, and the score was already 4-0 in our favor. By the end of the first half, they were so good, and then we took a break. We finished the game 5-1.
My family is with me now. We are happy, because during the period when I worked at Ingulets, they lived separately. My wife wanted us to be together, because the last year was difficult. I was very immersed in work from morning to evening. I realized that we had to build something interesting to show our ideas.
Now the children wake up and I am no longer at home, because I leave for the base at six o'clock in the morning and return home at 6-7 pm. My daughters say they don't see me all day. And I answer that now we see each other a little bit, but every day, and before that once a week.
I met my wife in a park and everything started to take off. I joked that I went to her place to eat because my mom cooked very well. And we had our wedding in Lviv - it was beautiful, we really enjoyed it. My wife is a psychologist. She also helps me a lot and advises me on some things," Lupashko said.
