Spezia on its official website announced the signing of a contract with Atalanta's Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko.

It is reported that the 26-year-old footballer is on loan for the entire 2022/23 season. At the same time, Spezia will be obliged to buy the transfer rights to Kovalenko from Atalanta if, at the end of this season, they retain their registration in Serie A.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according to media reports, 2 million euros will have to be paid for the redemption of the transfer rights for the Ukrainian midfielder Spezia.

Recall that last season Kovalenko also played for Spezia on loan, having played 26 matches for this team, in which he scored one goal and gave four assists.
