Catalan football club Barcelona has officially announced the dismissal of head coach Javi.
Javi Hernandez"Today, 24 May, Barcelona president Joan Laporta informed Javi Hernández that he will not be the first team head coach from next season (2024/2025).
"Barcelona would like to thank Javi for his work as coach, as well as for his remarkable career as a player and team captain, and wishes him every success in the future. Javi Hernández will coach the team for the last time in Sunday's away game against Sevilla.
Over the next few days, Barcelona will make an official announcement regarding the first-team structure," the Catalan club's press service said in a statement.
